Venedig
On my road trip in Italy, I drove up the Adriatic coast from Rimini to Chioggia. From Chioggia I took the ferry to Venice in a day trip. During an hour boat trip along the "Venetian Lagoon" I was able to collect many new impressions of the shallow waters. Only two meters next to the ship channel stranded boats can be seen. The water is partly over kilometers only a few meters deep.
In Venice, I almost could not get out of the amazement. The many small streets and the waterways are very impressive. I love the old Italian architecture, the buildings are partly huge and extremely resistant. Venice is completely overrun, but you can escape it a little by walking in small streets.
